The 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL) was the eleventh season of the IPL, a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India. The tournament was held from April 7 to May 27, 2018. The season featured eight teams, with each team playing a total of 14 matches.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) emerged as the winners of the 2018 IPL, defeating the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final. This was their third IPL title, and their first since the team’s suspension in 2015 and 2016.

2012 Season- 731 Sixes
The 2012 Indian Premier League (IPL) season was the 5th edition of the tournament. The Kolkata Knight Riders won their first title, defeating the Chennai Super Kings in the final by 5 wickets. The Knight Riders’ Sunil Narine was named the Player of the Tournament, while Chris Gayle of Royal Challengers Bangalore won the award for Most Valuable Player. The tournament was held from April 4 to May 27, 2012.
